Keeping Files Clean: Credit Score Advice Maintaining an Optimal Credit Score

Why do you need a credit score advice? In the fast paced daily in a financially turbulent economy, majority have considered borrowing as the first resort to immediate access to a sustained financial status, a well-to-do living or to a luxurious lifestyle. And living with borrowing in mind is engraving the term credit score deep down into ones senses.

In lay-man’s term, credit score is considered a debtor’s integrity or crediting credibility. It is the means by which the lenders (and now, some of the employers) measure a consumer’s ability to pay borrowed amounts, and thus, a meter of how creditable a person can be.

But in many instances, comparable to maintaining a person’s credibility in tact, people find a hard time sustaining a creditable credit score which makes them settle to second-best lenders and sometimes may even have a hard time finding a friend to whom that person may borrow.

The 350-850 range shall be the scale from which the credit bureaus or credit agencies will measure if a person is creditable or not.

A credit score advice can give you as much as you need. For example, considering the 79% inaccuracy rate referring to most credit agencies, it should be common to encounter flaws in credit reports and those flaws reflect to how creditable you are. With inaccurate date on your report, you might be given a 350 rating instead of getting a higher one. A simple list of sound credit score advice might help.

From a credit score advice, there are few tips that can be followed to keep credit scores to its highest and have credit reports squeaky clean from errors to get keep your credit scores pumped up.

  1. Verify and Validate. If you are the consumer, you may want to confirm every detail on your report and remove a long list of late payments, charge offs etc. Get a copy of your credit score from credit agencies and dissect the items listed so as to check whether settled accounts are still listed as unsettled, bump off from the list your late payments and others.

    • Truth in Lending Act (TILA) – this document states that it is pre-requisite to creditors to disclose all credit terms there is to there clients before any transaction.
    • Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA) – this document is consumer’s guard against billing practices that has become excessive and abusive. This encourages credit repair.
    • Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) – this document supports FCBA, encourages abuse-free and fair collection by credit bureaus, and provides medium for consumer disputes to be addressed through.
    • Credit Repair Organization Act (CROA) – to aid consumers in resolving credit report qualms, Credit Report Organizations Act was set up for consumer protection. This can be further explained through a credit score advice.
  3. Reprove Yourself. To clear a person slate, doing better on other transactions could overwrite the unwanted records and could regain a lender’s trust. Striving to pay on time and settling unresolved credits/debts can turn negative vibes around.
  4. Ask help. Ask the aid of credible Credit Repair Organizations. Some organizations might be able to solve the problems a consumer encounters for a small amount of money.

Integrity and credibility are criteria that can be questioned through presentation and arguing in support of facts and written documents. Being creditable, then, can be questioned the same but with a consumer’s full knowledge of the things that could work for his/her benefit could turn him/her out of a muddled and faulty report that would ruin his/her being creditable.
