How to keep a clean credit report?

Keeping a clean credit report is not a tough task. You have to be honest and realistic in your approach to keep the credit report clean. At times the task can be frustrating, but you should realize that you have no way out but to clear the mess yourself.

You have to start calculating your monthly expenditure. Try to cut down on the useless expenditures and use the extra cash to pay of the bills that have been piling up for the last couple of months. While clearing credit, you should keep in mind the thumb rule, never borrow money to pay your dues. It will do no good to your credit report. In fact there will be more negative information on your credit report and all the good work you are doing to reduce the credit would be undone.
