Thus all these agencies give information to the customers maintaining the integrity of the consumer credit reporting agencies (CRAs or credit bureaus). Certain errors can also be very major within these credit reports.

A lot of errors can also lead to a downfall in the credit scores of a customer. These errors can reduce the credit reports of a person from 50-150points. It is a fact that majorly credit reports can have certain errors. These errors can be due to a lot of reasons such as mortgage companies, employers, banking industry as well as creditors. Therefore, all the above mentioned agencies mention rules and regulations which help the customers be cautious of all sorts of misleading errors and statements. They also guide the customer regarding the credit worthiness of a company. Thus, it becomes very important to maintain the credit reports in a proper way and avoid all sorts of errors.
