Two reasons account for low credit scores. First, that you simply have no credit at all. The second reason states that you have credit but due to non payment have reduced the credit score significantly. For increasing a low credit score there are steps that you will have to consider. You might have to make an application for a big risk credit card to form credit gradually. It also suggests buying off your closed accounts for not making the payments. Then you also require making all your payments well within time in case the time exceeds then your credit score will shoot up.
