What are the two kinds of inquiries?

The two kinds of inquiries are the hard inquiry as well as the soft inquiry. The hard inquiry has a predominant effect on your credit scores when you make an application for new credit. The soft inquiry does not have any influence on your credit score as the hard inquiry. The soft inquiry is triggered when the occurrence of three events. The first amongst them is when you make a request for credit report. Second reason is when your credit report is viewed by the potential lender prior to rendering you with the pre-approved credit. Third reason is when the present creditor reviews your current account.
