How are the cards and important documents stolen?

Generally the thieves target the cards that have been issued recently. They also try to grab hold of the credit card application forms right from the mailbox of your residence. Few of them are called by the name “dumpster divers”. They specialize in rummaging through the waste paper baskets and trash in order to collect the credit card or bank statements of individuals. Now in case they get the credit card applications which are pre-approved, they will ask the issuing bank to resend the card at another address that belongs to the thief. After that they use your card and your personal information and you are the one who get victimized.
